Are you sure tmart.com is safe? I mean you ever bought anything from them before? Have a look at, http://www.amazon.com/7-Inch-Android-Jelly-Bean-512MB/dp/B00BF9MU94/ref=sr_1_3?m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1367094488&sr=1-3

The brand is Ainol and yes, it is made in China. I don't know if that's bad or good.

Camera is just too weak you will never get a decent picture quality otherwise it's a good tablet. If you're willing to give up on picture quality then go for it.

I am willing to give up the pictures if they will be that bad. I really wanted it for my daughter foremost so I guess I'll stick with my plan of getting a better camera phone.

What's the purpose? Just for gaming and taking photo? With that specs, gaming won't be much problem. But the camera is the other case. It will be sucks enough. Have you ever seen a photo taken with 5MP camera? Roughly said, that tablet will only has 6% photo quality from that 5MP camera. Is it worth buying? Considering that you will use it for two purposes, and one purpose can't be achieved good enough with that, if I were you, I'll look for more alternatives.

Since I use my pictures for work I guess it would not be wise to rely on using this one. I think my daughter can enjoy it to play games and listen to music.

Well, if at the very end it's solely just for playing games and stuffs, then go for it.

Well, it's inexpensive, so that's nice. Just remember though, you get what you pay for. It will most likely break down within the year, but if you are not using it for too much intensive stuff, it should satisfy your needs. The camera doesn't look very good, but I wouldn't suggest using tablets as cameras anyways, as phones are much more portable and actual cameras are better.

It really depends on the person and the use. What are you using this for? Is it for games? To me tablets are really a waste of money but that is just my opinion. Tablets are not usually that complex in specs. Tablets do not need that much of anything to run. Now to the point. Yes i do think that this tablet is totally worth it. It really has all the necessities. It really does have everything. Is it windows 8 tablet? I did not read all of it i just scanned. If it does the good thing is that you can as you said take notes on Microsoft word. I recommend you to buy this.

I was going to get it for my daughter to play games and maybe use the camera from time to time for pictures that I need for work. I don't need it for anything too serious and it's cheaper than most of the things I have looked at. thanks for your input.

Depending on the use it will be made, it's a good tablet I bought a similar tablet for my nephew, be sure I was very suspicious but after 2 weeks of use i can confirm that it performs well its role and doesn't have to blush in front of competitors.
