Will you poison someone just for an "experiment"?

This is actually an old news, but I read it just recently. A 17 years old Japanese girl poison her mother slowly just for an experiment since she's excited about the poisons, chemicals and all of that. She has posted about her progress and her excitement while she's poisoning her mother slowly and little by little on her blog (which already removed by police, but the passages of her blog can still be found if you are looking, which is saved by other bloggers). Her role model is the British serial killer Graham Young, who poisoned many people including his step mother when he's 14 years old (there is a movie based on this killer) She was even also still poisoning her mother when her mother admitted to the hospital. Her brother felt suspicious to her, because her eyes were sparkled with happiness and scary looking while seeing their mother admitted to hospital this time with a critical condition. So her brother told the police about her. Her teacher describe her as a quiet girl in class, and she's particularly good in Chemistry. It's scary to imagine a person like that exist, and since she's just 17 years old and not an adult yet, she just put in the long period correction education. She's also found to poison small animals and police found cats' head as well as other animals in her room. How is your opinion? Can they really fix her? She admitted that she poisoned her mother not because of grudge but for experiment....

True, I think that girl is psychopath, not to mention this is for an experiment, not because the mother has done something bad to her...
