Stephen Hawking said that if we were every to find sign of life somewhere around the galaxy or other galaxies etc, it would be bad for either us or them. As evolution has taught us it's the survival of the fittest or the smartest as is the situation with most humans these days.
What do you think about this? Is our desire to find life on another planets too risky?

Actually, I am afraid that those ET's might create havoc in our planet. I don't understand why scientist do no see the risk of having them on earth. It would be much better not to disturb them so they won't think of disturbing us as well.

Thing about it is that at this stage, the damage is done. If ET is gonna find us, they will.

                    Dear,
Evolution has not done in a day, its took a millions of year to reach to its current status.Mankind have faced many challenges & manage to survive every time. Finding new ways & facing new challenges are inherent qualities of all mankind.
So if there any e.t. exist & someday we encountered with them. then inbuilt qualities of all humans i.e. survival at any condition will surely help us to make our self exist.
Thanks
Mahatav

Maybe so but it still doesn't guarantee we defeat every possible stronger species. It's how it works, i'm not saying it's gonna happen but it is a possibility.
