Why Can't People See that "Eternity" Includes 'Now'!

On a blog that claimed to be about 'correcting the misrepresentations in Christian-thought,' a recent post PROMOTED one of the very misrepresentations I thought they were going to repair! My response was, 'Jesus said to the Pharisees, "The Kingdom of Heaven is ..." NOT 'somewhere else,' but "... AT HAND." An 'eternal' truth (not 'something that's not true now, but will be later,' not 'something that was true from the beginning, but isn't anymore' ... eternity INCLUDES NOW!). 'I understand how these worldly brains might not understand eternity as being 'NOW ALSO' on account of nothing in the world being "eternally the same" (we think things are 'destroyed,' but the Second Law of Thermodynamics says otherwise ... or maybe that's the First Law, "Nothing can be created or destroyed"; Things are merely deconstructed into their constituent particles). 'So why can't you see that eternity is now?' But I couldn't submit that comment there because I'm not 'on that particular blog's "team".' (I mean; I'm on the 'team' of Christianity, but not "listed" on that blog's member-roll). Yet I think the reason why people can't see NOW as part of "eternity" is because (like I said) our senses are filled--from birth to death--with 'evidence' that ISN'T eternal to us. To our senses, moth-&-rot destroy. (To our higher knowledge, NOTHING is "destroyed" but rather is "taken apart"; but our senses can't perceive that!)

Eternity is now. Very very Good!. You are right so many people think eternity is for later. Yes, I think you are right. It comes from seeing only the physical and not realizing we are all Spiritual beings in or true natures. If one looks beyond the physical, it becomes so clear. Once again. Nice observation and logical thinking. You place truth in the world. Maybe they can now see.

Hi mythociate, No matter what you call it there is only now and that's the way it has always been. As we evolve spiritually, we will of course understand more than we do at this moment. Blessings.
