My father in law experiencing hot flashes since the day he was discharged from the hospital and the only way to make him comfortable is to open the air conditioner were we set to high temperature. My mom, niece and I wearing thick clothes with blanket while my FIL wearing thin clothes and boxer shorts. My hands is shaking and I think i need hot water or milk.

I am so sorry bthat your FIL is still so sick. You must always wear a scarf around your neck to keep warm. If the neck is cold then you just cannot warm up

I don't like to feel so hot and cold, neither. So i would prefer to make the room feel good and comfortable to stay, air conditioner is not that good to use often so just take good care of yourself and good for you.

you can also wear a bonnet to keep your heads warm and long thick knee-high socks for your feet. i can imagine the three of you sleeping in a fetal position. (when it's hot, we tend to sleep all stretched out, don't we?)
