History tells of a Man
Who was really God veiled in flesh
He did what no other man can.
With many His sayings did not mesh
They harrassed Him at every turn
But Jesus followed His Fathe's request.
To the cruel cross He did turn
For all of man's sin He did die
Otherwise, in Hell we would burn.
Many refuse, only God knows why
To accept the gift of salvation
The go through life not prepared to die.
We've turned our backs on God as a nation
Neglecting God's plan of emancipation.
