Vampire movies / supernatural are trending today?

You know what as I read the newspaper movies like twilight saga, breaking dawn, warm bodies, underworld, warm bodies and etc are very trending. I was really thinking that people like the love stories or the supernatural powers they had or just because the characters are handsome and pretty. But honestly, there on the top grosser in Movies. When I cannot see the moral point of it.

I think we're a few years past the trending of vampire movies. Supernatural movies will always be around but Twilight hit it's peak about 4-5 years ago and all that has happened since are petty knock offs of a show that was pretty bad in the first place.
Are you in the USA? I was wondering because I know some countries are a few years behind the Hollywood trends.

Right, I am outside USA. I am in Philippines. Those vampire movies are still very trending and mostly the viewers are childrens that's why I was asking for the moral point of it. Not to mention my nephew did bite me pretending to be a vampire like Edward Collins.

I'm a horror movie addict and don't think there is a moral point of view to any of them. They are just for entertainment.

Well, there isn't really a moral point to many movie these days especially if it is an action movie or a romance one. 
it has been trending for a while. The Underworld series and Anne Rice's vampires made me love them since they are interesting creatures of the dark, most especially because they are also beautiful.. 
And the action in Underworld is awesome, there are werewolves too.
