Weekend enjoyment.

This weekend is a bit laid back. I was able to get my website up today. Took the leap and paid for my own domain. The girls have a party later, and then tonight a sleepover. My other daughter is performing in the second night of "Guys and Dolls" tonight for her school, and I have newspapers to pick up. I never saw myself needing to read newspapers, but I find as I get older I want to read them, and do the puzzles in them. Have you found as you get older that you want to do things you thought you wouldn't do?

Me and my kids only stayed at home this weekend. Not even sure if we could hear mass later as we used to. It's been my dream to visit beautiful spots and stunning beaches near our place but this time we really can't afford it. We've grown in number which means additional expense if we will be going out during weekend. About newspaper, I used to read it every Sunday not because I'm getting old already but because I am scouting for good jobs abroad.

We would love to travel more but like you said money doesn't make it possible, but when we do travel even if only a short while away we make it as fun as we can.

Sounds like you are set for the weekend then. What kinds of things do you do on the computer and what kind of music do you enjoy?

Yes - cooking - it was my arch nemesis. I was one of those people who could "burn" water. I hated cooking. A decade later, everything has changed. Now there are two shelves full of cookbooks and each month I will pick a specific style to try....music, some sangria, and a sizzling skillet have become a fun, creative outlet for me. People who know me are shocked that I've finally mastered the art of cooking, and enjoy it. It's amazing how much you can change over the course of ten years!

To some people cooking comes naturally, other have to work at it, and some never get the hang of it, or give up before they even learn. I am glad that music and cooking have become something you enjoy.

Sounds like a very fun and busy weekend. I hope that your website is on your profile here. I want to check it out. I enjoy reading the newspaper myself. Normally I read the Sunday paper which I buy for the coupons. I find myself doing lots of things that I never thought I would do and stopping things I thought I would always do. Age gives you a better perspective I guess. Have a good weekend.

When I came a cross a discussion mentioning about a websites they own, I would automatically go to profile page to see what it was about. I hope I find it the next time. Well, anyway I always devote my weekend for my family and updating my online stuffs. It's Sunday in our place and going to the church is our main priority. I can do other things while waiting for my princess (my 14 year old daughter) who is still sleeping. Have a great weekend!

We haven't been to church in a long time, but we do read the Bible and pray every day, giving god thanks for all he has done for us and the path he has led us on.

weekend enjoyment - today, it is a very hot sunday here. i am cooking sweet potato. i will smash it later and mix some condense milk and peanuts. we will be enjoying eating it. i will prepare salad as well. that is why we will enjoy our weekend in our house with my family. and yes, pertaining to past; there are lots of things that i regretted that i want to do it now. but past is past, there is no use in crying over a milk that is being spilled already. better to watch what we have today and if we do not want regrets, let us not be afraid of doing a thing, doing the best we can and do it with pleasure and dedication ;P so be it :)

Spending time with family is the best. When I said the above I was referring to things like foods you eat now that you wouldn't have eaten as a child, like I didn't read the paper as a child, but with getting older I want to read the paper.

Sounds like you have your own business going on, and it takes hard work to get it up and going. I work from home so that I can be here for the kids but still contribute to our bank account.
