This quelled my rage!

It only took 3 overtimes in the Bulls/Nets basketball playoff game and some good baseball to get rid of my rage. Who knew television could be such a quick fix? Have you ever been extremely angry, and then something silly or trite got rid of it? But as I look again at the baseball, my team is now losing. Hmmm...my rage may make a return...

I normally talk to myself and 'let off steam' - a safe way when you hurt none and at the same time get relief from pent up emotions. This cools me to handle the situation. Don't get me wrong. I will not ignore what has put me in a rage. I will deal with it but with a cool mind!

I'd like to have a punching bag and a set of boxing gloves.

hi ambiepam it would have depended on what i was enraged about but if it is not someone close to me a good basketball game would do it. I mean make me forget I was angry.I am also disappointed in the way my Lakers team played and to think they had won the playoffs so many times too.I love basket ball and baseball both. Before I was so stove up we used to go to hoe games of the Angels and sit in the nose bleed section but now I c nnot do that darn.I feel like I miss so much. oh well I do have mylot. lol.

When Kobe Bryant got hurt you just knew they wouldn't be able to win. I think the Lakers need to get rid of their coach.

Ah no. I once was too angry to eat. I fasted for 36 hours! The odd part is I don't remember what I was angry about!. No , the best way for me to cool down is to sit and plot the perfect revenge. Usually it is to Never speak or even acknowledge the presence of the person who made mt angry . As soon as I have a plan, my anger goes away.

The games are not making me angry. I'm saying they are helping me get over my anger.

I know, but you said your team was losing and you felt the rage. Did they lose?
