My niece has chicken pox

My poor little niece, Chelsea has chicken pox. She's had it for a week now and her brother is staying with us so that he doesn't catch it.I also have another little niece who has not had it so Chelsea doesn't get to come here in our home. And her mother is working as well as her father so she's only with the nanny. My mother visits her once in a while though.
I remember when I had the chicken pox. I was already a teenager and it was during the end of the school year when I had it. I was not able to attend our Recognition Day. That is why I told my nephew, Chelsea's brother to go catch chicken pox already while it is still their vacation. :p

I remember the agony of not being able to scratch, mum was on guard most of the time telling me NOT to scratch, it would leave scars, I also remember her kindly rubbing calomine lotion on me to stop the infernal itch. Fortunately I only had one bad dose of it, and that was as a child. Which was fortunate as when I was in my thirties I worked with children and you can pick up all their illnesses etc, but fortunately my immune system is pretty strong. I hope Chelsea gets better soon! Not nice chicken pox

My mom wasn't able to stop me from scratching! LOL That's why I have some scars in different parts of my body. .

Some diseases are contagious–like colds, flu, and chicken pox. Measles and chicken pox were quite common and every baby that was born had to have shots in order to avoid contracting the disease.
So you are right to take her brother to your house in case he does not catch it.
When I was small, I had chicken pox, too. My mother took good care of me. I appreciate my mother very much.

This is common during summer.
My niece and nephews also had chicken pox this summer.
Well, the good thing is school vacation is already here- now they can stay at home.
Yes, few kids are not able to attend their graduation and recognition day due to this health issues.
