i just wonder why the price for food like onion, bread, rice, and all thing is rising so so so fast. i read the report release by the finance minister that Malaysia inflation is 3% but why the price is so difference compare to last week. for example I buy french bread for rm1 but now is rm1.79. can you see the difference?but not just bread, I mean you see for other thing like pasta sales for rm1.6 but now is shot to rm4.29. what is this mean? if last time I bring rm50 for buy basic stuff and I can get almost 15 item and still a lot but now I only managed to buy only 9 item...........is this happen to myself? how bout the rest of the world?

I think the whole world is currently feeling the pinch, I know in my country, the UK, inflation is on the rise, petrol prices are at an all time high, which affects food because transport prices go up it then means prices go up. I have also noticed that things don't go up by pennies and cents any more they go up by pounds and dollars! You do need to shop around if you have the opportunity, because there is always competition with shops wanting your business.

I think all of us are affected. I feel bad for those poor people who don't even have a job to feed their family. Where the hell are they going to get the money to buy food. I mean, we employed still have something for the basic needs. I just wish things would get better soon.

This is the world trend. Everything is increasing so we have to increase our income by working harder. Otherwise we can follow this trend. Big nations is spending billions of $ in WAR weapons, increasing their defense system. So small nations is suffering , so the people have to spend money. Why not the leaders think about this, they all are selfish, all want to be at the top. Some big nations are playing double role - the good and the ugly - This billion of money can save billion of lives.. There is no such thing the strongest forever. The sun have to go at night and come back again in the moring. This is the law of nature. Too hard and strong can explode and decay, beware big nation.. oneday you be down.

I don't think you're alone in this. A lot of us living in other countries are also experiencing the rising prices of basic commodities. I myself is at a lost why this is happening especially when news reports say that the economy is improving and such.

It is very true, the economy is falling and jacking the prices up, yet our wages are staying the same. I think we all need to go back to the basic living. I am trying to live off the lnd, the next thing is to get my hunting licence.

In my opinion, it must have something to do with oil and China's debt. Right now, oil is virtually the fuel of everything.
