New Mylot Changes..

I'm sure you all read the alert.. Mylot won't be paying us anymore.
I know I've always said I'd probably still be here even if Mylot didn't pay, as I love some of the friends I've made.. I really really do!
But as you can imagine.. I won't be nearly as active if I'm not earning!
I'd really love to be able to keep in touch with my good friends though.
Those of you on Gather and Bubblews, I'll see you there :)
If you're not on Gather or Bubblews.. I want to keep in touch with you! Send me your e-mail or add me on Facebook.. most of you know my real name I think if not.. just ask, I'll give you the link or something..
I use this same screen name everywhere so if you want to find me, it won't be hard :)
I will miss this site a lot.. I appreciate the opportunity to have been here. I appreciate the friendships I've made. Some of you have helped me out more than you know. I love talking to you guys! I hope we can continue to do so..
Will you still be here after Mylot has switched over?

I love my lot, but the adm. has done this the wrong way. Give people a month to get to payout not days. Very sad...

I am pretty much sure,i wont go to gather. I will stay here and I hope I wont be talking to my self when the changes come. managed to stay to some non paying site for a decade. so who know if I can do the same with mylot, if the place will still be alive after the changes. some people might petition but as they say petitions dont work. I will see if people will still stay here.

from what I heard,You will need some posting alliances to stay survive there,Your discussion must have a traffic and its paying system is much more slower than mylot. But i can see a lot of people making an exodus.

Last I heard Gather wasn't accepting new members.. but maybe when they come back online they will.. I don't know.

One word that describes how I am feeling about this news..
GUTTED
It's the way it's been done that's saddening
I won't be going to bubblews, I will stick around, but now I am wondering whether to re-open my Facebook account, because I just don't want to lose all the wonderful friends that I have made over the years that I have been here.
I won't be on bubblews myself as I can't stand the site personally. Each to their own I guess.
Sad day indeed for all.

What will very likely happen is that those who haven't already joined Bubblews will do so and that site will dramatically lower its payments in order to cope (if they don't go under).
I don't use Gather but it appears no longer to exist - http://www.gather.com/ is just a blank page.

Gather is switching over to a new server.. they've been down since Friday. But they aren't going under as of yet.

Is Gather now working? I kept trying to get on yesterday to no avail. I hope they gave us all our points back. It's funny when all that happened on Gather I breathed a sigh of relief. I was like, well, at least I can earn money on mylot! What a false sense of security that turned out to be! It looks like I'll have more time to join Bubblews. I might come back here, but you're right. It won't be nearly as often.

Might want to hold off on Bubblews for right now.. I'm seeing a lot more of those "I haven't been paid yet" posts over there. I redeemed yesterday and so far haven't heard anything about being paid.. normally they do send it in 24 hours.. so we'll see. I will keep you posted on that..
No, I've been checking Gather occasionally and nothing at all is coming up anymore.. just a blank white screen.

I do love the discussions and such, but seriously if I just wanted a discussion site then I belong to quite a few forums and then there is facebook, calling friends on the phone, and so on. I probably will not leave here but I doubt I'll be as active or anything. I'm just happy I made over five dollars and so I will get that. I think that while people do enjoy the discussions many people have added their friends on facebook, skype, and other such forums and media outlets and will be more likely to just talk to people on there rather than start many discussions on here.

Well I have other web sites, I am earning from so I am not a bit worried, I knew Mylot would come to this one day, and it's finally happen, now some would post if Mylot would stop paying would you stay here, my answer is the same as before No, I will not be staying here, I have bills to pay, just coming here chatting every day with out pay, is not going to pay my bills, if I am going to sit around chatting all day, I might as well go on facebook, and do that I know i won't ear, anything then.
