So Are Immigrants Supposed to Become Citizens BEFORE They Immigrate?

What this group is trying to say is that if you grant the citizenship rights to the illegals that are here it will cost us because they will qualify for government programs. I have always supported the idea that we need to secure our borders first, then deal with the illegal immigrants that are here. The best way would be for each family to obtain a sponsor and have to wait 5 years to apply for citizenship. If the immigrant can't work then the sponsor is responsible for them financially not the tax payers.
