Summer heat

It is summer season in southern part of India and we feel the intense heat to its maximum during the month of April and may.Although there are lots of yellow fruits to have like,mango,papaya and jack fruit and luscious red fruit like rose apple and water melon,I still long for ice cold drinks to keep thirst at bay.With power outage and power cut,we really have a real sizzling summer,how about your country?

Here in the United States we are just getting into the warmer part of spring, with the long, hot summer still to come. Infact earlier just this month many areas here were still getting snow fall! Give me another moth or two and i will be begging for the snow to come back and cool us all off, but right now i am eagerly waiting for the hot, lazy days of summer to get here.
I couldn't imagine dealing with a power outage/power cut in the deep heat of summer..no air conditioning? no fans? no fridge/freezer in which to make ice and keep cool drinks on hand!? yuck...not my idea of a good time..
