Does anyone know if we will get paid the money we had made before this site stopped paying? Did this site stop paying for post? What happened? Did my lot sell to someone else? Is there any sites that you can get paid to post? Please I needed the little money I was making on this site can anyone help me find a site that will pay you to post?

MyLot didn't sell to someone else exactly. They simply redesigned the site and discontinued the earnings program on May 1st. If you had entered your valid PayPal ID (email address) in the Payment Information screen before April 30th and had at least $4.50 in your account, you should have already received your earnings in full on or around the 15th May. First check your PayPal account to see if you did receive a payment and, if you did not but are fairly certain that your balance was more than $4.50 by the end of April, send a private message to @MyLot_Payments to ask what the situation is. If they did not have your PayPal ID (or had the wrong one for any reason), they will try to help you. There are two sites which many MyLotters have migrated to: Morachat.com, which is a traditional forum type site and pays, I gather, in a similar way and at a similar level to MyLot. Bubblews.com, which is more of an 'article publishing' site and pays according to the number of views, likes and comments your posts receive. The rules are very simple - 'articles' must be more than 400 characters (about 80 - 100 words); they must be all your own work (plagiarism is very strictly forbidden); you cannot post more than 10 'articles' a day and you must not engage in any 'commenting rings' or other practices to gain falsely enhanced views, likes and comments. Minimum payout is $25 and it is not difficult to earn that in a week or 10 days.

@PhredWreck I already checked his activity. He was active in April, so I didn't feel the need to mention it.

It's hard to earn it if you like commenting rather than initiating posts. i've made $15 or so from 5 posts which is good but i still prefer commenting on other peoples posts which is where old mylot had the advantage. personally i think eiither bubblews days are numbered or their earnings levels and structures must be re thought. apparently there are some changes coming there this summer.

If you were going to be paid you should have been paid by now. They just decided to stop the earnings program, not aware they sold out to anyone. Come over to Bubblews if you want to earn money, the rates are massively higher than mylot ever paid but i still don't like it as much as the old mylot.

@dawnald i think it will last but not in its current form, earnings are just too high and i can't see them keeping that up. changes are coming in the summer apparently

So, what is the essence of MyLot now, then? What's the difference between using this site vs Twitter by using #question hashtags?
