Snakes Strikes!

What kind of snake was it? I didn't think eastern Europe had venomous snakes. Glad he's ok though. I used to keep and breed snakes, never dealt with the poisonous ones though, at least not on purpose. We had some rattlers where I grew up and the occasional copper head, but not a lot of them. It was just an accepted practice when I was snake hunting to always look before I placed my hand somewhere or stepped. Snakes for the most part want nothing to do with people and will be long gone before you ever see them if you let them hear you coming.
