I can't read my messages-Please help

I keep clicking my messages and after sometime get the message "Timeout occurred. Try refreshing". This keeps continuing over and over again. Are you all facing the same problem or is it just me. Please help me out with a solution

No. All my spam messages are opening with noooo problem.

@LaDeBoheme Most spam messages can be stopped by changing your message settings so that only those you are following can message you.
