Today's exciting updates

Cable, internet and phone are still not up. Comcast had me on the phone for 1 1/2 hours yesterday, at the end they said they would contact their "activation department" in the morning and then give me a call. No call yet. The TV downstairs is getting signal, but the DVR and guide are not working. I anticipate another long call with them tonight... 
Last night I got an e-mail from Peggy Fleming's husband. He is going to call me tonight so we can make arrangements for me to send the box with her parents' things. I am going to ask if I can keep the autographed photo. 
No word from my broker about her communication with the buyer's agent of my old house about the so-called septic tank that isn't a septic tank.

Ugh! Hope you get reimbursed or something for all the trouble you are going through! Dang, that's a long time to be on the phone just to be told that - I'd be soooooooo PO'd !!! And I don't get those folks who bought your house . . . seriously, what are they expecting - the deal is done and overwith - not Dawn's problem!!! Yah, my question, WTH?????? Ohhhhhhhh, did the hubby call you?? (oh I got lots of questions! ha ha).

comcast is sending a tech out. I am going to ask a bill credit for every day that we didnt have service.
And those people are just jerks. I swear I'm going to send a letter telling them to leave me alone.
He did call, but you got my messages. Very nice man....

hope you get some answers soon on the cable/internet thing.......if the flemming family doesn't let you keep at least the autographed picture then tell them they get nothing! (bonus points of you tell them in gene wilder's voice from willy wonka and the chocolate factory "so you get nothing! You lose! Good day, sir! ") and on the third bit, no news is good news.....or so they say LOL

Comcast called today and said there was some issue with permits with the city (aargh).
And when I asked about the photo, they said they would send me one personally addressed to me.

Other than the 1 TV, we are not connected yet. Maybe this weekend.
