Many times a question would come up as a topic: would you come here if Mylot didn't pay? or something like that. Well now they're not. are you still come here, or was it always about the money?

mylot was never about the money for me...it was more about being able to connect with/help people. I fell out of it for a while, partially just because i forgot about it, and partially because i got bored with it so i only checked in occasionally. Though it may sound strange to some, now that mylot is NOT paying, i find many of the discussions more intriguing. granted, you still have to weed through the "i don't get the changes" and "does mylot still pay?" posts, but the discussions that start about other topics are amazing and the fact that people are still trying/willing to connect with other with OUT the "Paid posting" stigma is actually nice.

I agree. And there have been times where I went monthes without visiting mylot too. I think, with exception of some, it's just natural. And I think it's easier to find interesting topics because there were some trying to make alot of money on mylot and wold respond to any post.
