It just doesn't feel right....

and no....i am NOT talking about the new look of mylot LOL....as i am sure many people who read the title will assume... my property manager/landlord recently did an over hall on my bathroom (i won't even go IN to the drama that all entailed) but i wound up with a new sink/vanity, a SAFER tub/shower combo, some new flooring etc. all in all....(barring the amt. of time and inconvenience it caused me) i am not unhappy with the upgrades to my bathroom. but apparently in the deal with the contractor they were supposed to replace my toilet as well..(even though there were no issues with it, it was fairly new, had no problems, the owner wanted it replaced at the same time as the rest of the fixtures, which i can kind of understand)... So today, the contractor showed up to change it out.....wasn't really expecting him, but not a huge deal as it happened to be my day off so whatever. It only took him about 45 minutes to an hour to take out the old toilet and install the new one....even less of an inconvenience to me.. the problem comes after he left........and let me state firstly there are no plumbing issues , no leaks or anything......the problem comes with the new toilet itself. It is a much different model than the one i have had for the past 8 years. Bear with me people..but come on...i am sure you will understand. When i sit on the new "loo" it conforms to my rear end much differently than my old one...it is longer front to back and slightly narrower side to side.....you can't tell me you wouldn't feel the difference after using the same toilet for almost a decade!... also.....the handle for the flush is in a slightly different place an a different angle...and it totally sounds different when you flush it... maybe i am just not as acceptable to change as i always thought i was....though give me a week and i will probably stop noticing it. When constants in your life have ever changed?......did it throw your life into a tizzy for a bit as well? or am i just overly sensitive? LOL
