interesting about asian dramas

i remember watching some asian dramas with english subtitles many years ago. yes, i enjoyed reading and watching the actors. sometimes the length of the translations and their speech don't match. some of the characters, their characteristics and the situations or plot are pretty familiar or maybe even formulaic. no need to think too much so you're not too affected afterwards. i also observed how other asians lived, like their houses and the things they us, their clothes, how they eat and sleep, their environment, etc so you could say it's also educational.

i know how you feel....it seems like so mand american tv shows in the drama category seem to focus on "post-apocalyptic" story lines......seems to be the "story-line du jour"......has been harder and harder to find any GOOD comedy, light hearted stories any more. It is either gloom and doom/end of the world or stupid reality shows that make people look silly. Unfortunately i don't speak any language other than english,so i don't know i would get much out of these shows you posted...
