Installing a new windows 7 theme doesn't change my taskbar's appearance

I already installed ux patcher but when i try to install themes to my windows 7 ultimate, the theme changes except my taskbar, which was supposed to change as well. For some themes, it does change but it only changes to classic. i can't get the themes taskbar appearance to work. What should I do?
