Where IS the outrage?

Why are the poor and middle class in America putting up with conditions that are eroding their rights, their earning power, their chance for a decent retirement, etc.?
The only Americans who seem to be seething with anger are the beneficiaries of this economic injustice.

@dawnald That is very true. Many Americans want to do something but not sure how to do it. They have noone they can go to to find out.

It has been said "this is the decade of the entrepreneur". Gee, I wonder why!? (sarcasm). On our block of 17 homes 3 people have been laid off in the wake of the "Great Recession". 2 have have started their own business' and at least four have taken on a renter or started to hold down 2 jobs! Many have lost their retirement and their homes. These people are too tired to fight politics and have no time to do it. They've even given up their hobbies, pets and vacations just to help make ends meet and work. That's all they have time for anymore.

@dawnald And this is what the wealthy wanted all along! The only thing that will stop it is overthrow of the government. The only way to stop it is falling off the grid. We are preparing for such an event. It would only mean giving up our home and all the stuff in it. We'll have to fight with everything we have just to pursue sustaining the life of our family. This happened before, because of the Great Depression, when unions were formed and the criminal element ran the country (the mafia). We're just missing a leader!
