Kids may not be so lucky to have stepdads or stepmoms. They might end up being abused. But there should be no way for this to happen, only if their parent was strong enough to hold that hand to hurt the children.

Being abused is not just hitting or physical punishment. It can be mental, eg too much 'time out', no contact, no love, .................... As ADULTS it's our job too protect and shield ALL vulnerable people
