Heat!

What is up with this heat this summer? I live in the Midwest and this summer is starting to feel like last year. No rain, cracks in my yard large enough to fall in, and I can't step out of the house without working up a sweat!

It has been extremely hot EVERYWHERE these past few weeks. Though luckily (or maybe unluckily due to the added humidity) we here on the coast have been getting plenty of rain so far. I just keep reminding myself that in no time we will be complaining about the snow instead!
