How to save money?? / myLot

Hi Friends, I am bit surprised by the way i am spending my money. Few years back i was earning very less amount but i was able to save a hand-sum amount. Now a days i have a very good salary package but every month my complete salary goes into credit card bills and other expenses. I want to control my expenses and increase my savings. Can anyone please help me in this regard. Thanks in Advance

I use a credit card but have looked closely at interest rates and payback plan. If I pay within one month interest is waved. It is good to try to get ahead of the game by having a savings account for surprise bills. Looking at expenses can give some feedback as to where money is being dispensed. Some things you can not do much about, like rent but in times of stress other payments like lease agreements can be negotiated if necessary. Other bills like groceries can be reduced by looking for bargains or alternatives. A garden can help reduce monthly bills in some seasons for example.
