Food For Puppy

Hi Friends, I got a new Labrador puppy few weeks ago. He was 35 days old at that time. I gave him dog cerelac 4 times a day. ow he is 50 days old and doctor advices me to start :Royal gainer" dog food supplement thrice a day. The puppy looks bit thinner and we can see his ribs as well. This is my first pet so i am not sure m i doing the right care or not. Please help me with your suggestions because i don't want any negligence for his health. Any advice is highly appreciated! i am not good at advice when it comes to dogs as i am more a cat person.......but i am just concerned that you got this dog at ONLY 35 days old. is is VERY strongly recommended that pups stay with their mother until at LEAST 8 weeks....(60 days minimum)....all i can say is to follow your vets advice though.....and best of luck..
