I like it when I am about to go to bed. It sounds like a lullaby and fortunately it has been happening that way quite frequently.

Yeah, when one is inside and is about to sleep the sound of rain plays like a music to the ears. Thanks for responding.

@allknowing - Yeah, I can imagine how wonderful it would have been to watch others playing in the rain on the sea beach, while you were sipping tea in an area not affected by heavy downpour. Thanks for sharing.

@dpk262006 I remember an incident while were holidaying in Goa in the rains there was a crowd on the beach having fun while we were sipping tea well protected from the rain. There was a heavy downpour and all those on the beach welcomed that downpour and we could see them having fun.

I wanted to run without a umbrella in the rain in my Grade Three in high school because I suffered a lot of stresses and I thought that must be terrific.But I didn't because I was going to have university entrance examinatio. I still like listening to rain alone.I can think everything then,daydreams,perhaps.But I don't like walking in the rain.

OH I see, you had an opportunity in Grade three but you missed that opportunity. Even now you feel scared to go in the rain, as you do not feel like wetting yourself. Thanks for your response.

@dawnald (81609) Same here. I think of lightening too. I like to splash around like a child but don't want to be so silly as to be stupid. I try to look after my health more now than I did in my youth. Still don't want to miss out in the simple joys of living.

My view is when I look at my little garden. The flowers like the rain and they flourish without my helping hand, actually the rain gives me a rest. The trees do well too. I can cry if I feel like crying, no one sees, but if I want to laugh can do that just as well because feeling good is possible in the rain too. In this world we can expect rain, so I try to think like it, dislike it, its going to happen anyway.

Hi Bluedoll - I agree with you that plants and flowers like the rain and they not only flourish, when it rains, they look so pretty and neat and clean and shining.
Yes, while getting wet in the rain you could cry and no one would be able to see, whether drops on your cheeks are rain drops or tear drops.
But do you like getting wet in the rain, if you are allowed go get wet?

yes i to love rain but our parents will not allow go in rain because they will tell that if u go in rain any where ur will be suffering with cold so be careful they will tell

It means if your parents allow, you will go and dance in the rain. It is correct that one could get cold, if one gets drenched in rain but that happens when weather is cold/wintry and winds are blowing. Keep enjoying rain from inside of your home. Thanks for sharing.

In earlier days I enjoy getting wet , but nowadays I am not doing so . Also to get impressed from My girlfriend , I have done like that ... Walking , Dancing in rain is such a beautiful & plesant experiance anyway ..

Ofcourse @dpk262006 , I remember on that day I had an umbrella 
, it was a beautiful cloudy evening . Started raining , She
came there , but without umbrella ! ! She started getting wet .. Me too wants to get wet ..

Yes, you are right that no one likes torrential or heavy rains, which could play havoc. We feel good when there is light drizzle and we just could walk across a road during light drizzle. Flowers and tree looks so shining, when it rains.

If there is what you call a rain person, count me in. :) I love the rain. Rainy days calm me and am happy with it. But ofcourse, excessive rainy day isnt good.

I don't like rain when I am in uncomfortable clothing, like when I doll myself up for an important event or meeting. But when I have nothing else to do and don't mind being messy, I appreciate the rain. Just don't wanna get hit by lightning or anything

Yeah, no one would like to drench in rain, when one is dressed up and ready to go somewhere. When one is at home are there is nothing to worry about, one could surely enjoy getting wet in the rain. Many thanks for joining and sharing your views.

I have no problem with the rain, I like it. It doesn't stop me from going outside or going to the store or anything like that. In fact, I prefer a cloudy, cool, (even rainy) day to a hot, sunny day. I do not like hot, sunny days. I just have to accept that. My parents told me to move to Oregon.
