Help needed in writing a salary negotiation letter

Hi all....I am currently working for an civil engineering consultancy company in India. few days back i had applied for a vacancy and was interviewed by the company. during the int. when i was asked about my current salary, I told him 350,000 Rs. and that person asked me a question, whether salary figure is more important or saving figure is more important for me. As this new job offer is in a place where i can reduce my expenditure by around 40%. Now he has offered me a job at a salary of 250,000 Rs. and free company accommodation with incentives which will kick in after completion of 3 months probation. But during this period i was promoted in my current company and now package has been increased by around 150,000 Rs. i.e. now its 500,000Rs. per annum. Only thing is that the work profile in that company is much much better than the work i am doing currently and that is the field in which i really want to work. Now I need your help in writing a letter for negotiating this offer. i am ready to go to that company if they offer me at least 400,000 Rs. p.a.
