How Many Cats?

I never thought I would have this problem, yet I find myself with 12 cats. It is really kind of hard to believe but true. Started with Fluffy having a litter of kittens. She had 4 of them. They are all solid black with long fur. They are the most loving and friendly cats I have ever known. They follow me everywhere I go even if it is just to the other room. They are not afraid of anything. Not even the vacuum. They are even trying to be evolved in writing this post. Then there's Mr. Whiskers, he really surprised me by getting out of the house and not coming home for 5 days. But the biggest part of the surprise was he came home pregnant. I guess I missed that one. Not long after she had 4 kittens. They are all so different, each one of them. Time just passed so quickly as I got to know them and they grew so fast. Everyone I asked either had kittens of their own or did not want any. So 12 is a lot of cats, right? Do you need a really cool cat?

This is some trap you've got yourself in, no doubt about that. You have to put a stop to this. This number can and will continue to go up. You have to be realistic. Not emotional.

How very right you are. And I am taking steps to correct this out of control situation. I have re-homed two of the older kittens and two more are hopefully going to their new forever homes. I was very fortunate that they found homes where they can be appreciated for the special cats they are. Thank you for the logical input.
