You don't really need someone to complete you. You only need someone to accept you completely.

I disagree. I mean, you can CHOOSE to believe that (if you're careful not to overhear any of the ways that 'having a spouse' can make righteousness easier); but I would rather choose to be INCOMPLETE WITHOUT Y-- a spouse It's like getting a job as a high-school graduate rather than -as a drop-out with a GED. As the graduate, you feel like you DESERVE the job more than the drop-out ... even if the drop-out does it better!
