I need to find a way to earn money in the internet

I'm trying to find another way to earn money through the net. Please help me. I work at home and I'm currently working as a tutor but the money I earn is not enough to make a descent living. I tried applying for Adsense but I was disapproved. I wonder why/? I'm now into these PTC"s but I'm wondering if they really work?
