THE ELEVATOR GIRL

An elevator girl recently got famous in our country through the internet. People love her because of her cheerful demeanor. Working as an elevator attendant seems easy but I can imagine how boring it could be sitting inside an elevator eight hours every day. But this girl, Cheridel Alejandrino, chose to enjoy her job. As a result customers of SM Olongapo look forward to her ride which includes some funny antics, songs, and a complete rundown of the shops you'll find in each floor plus you won't get off without her "thank you, come again!" Customers took videos of her and uploaded it in YouTube. She became so popular that TV networks went out of their way to interview her and guest her in various programs. Everybody wants to know about this ordinary girl with an ordinary job who became an extraordinary person. So how does one become great? Does greatness comes from lineage? from titles? from money? God has a plan for each one of us. And this plan comes with greatness if we'll just pursue our purpose in life. Disappointments sometimes come from pursuing the wrong dream. We strive to be great by aiming so high that we often miss the mark. Sometimes we should step back and listen to what our hearts tell us. Maybe what God want for us is simple. Many people in history followed their hearts despite the odds but they nevertheless achieved greatness. The elevator girl is an example of being great in whatever you do.You can watch her video in YouTube.

There is nothing in the world so much admired as a man or woman who knows how to bear unhappiness with courage. Thanks.
