This is my original post about the accident that Tony and I were in last December: Today the insurance company called and told him they wanted to investigate, and he told me I'd be getting a call. And sure enough, they called and got my version of the story, and then I sent them this post that I posted the next morning (I had sent it to them in March, but she says it's not in their file). Anyway, who knows. Maybe they will actually fight this with State Farm and get this ding off his record, and not make him pay back the deductible that he deducted when he returned their duplicate payment. I'm sure that the reason they are even bothering to research it is that we did hold on to the deductible. But whatever. At least they're finally doing the right thing.
Last night was not fun. I had had Tony pick up the kids so he could take Dearra to her physical therapy apppintment. They did not hear that I said he would get...

I remember one of your discussion started last year about this accident. Here, for a car, they could have stopped the insurance to recover the payment of the deductible, but it is double-edged and only used for bad drivers, as a good one can find easily another company in such a case. Maybe is it better for them to "forget" the incident ?

In Tony's case, he can't really afford other insurance. These guys are bargain basement.

@topffer could be they are seriously going to go after the other insurance company, could be they are being sneaky and they really want to come after Tony. I am hoping that good will win over evil here. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

@dawnald I don't know your laws, it is why I removed a few lines in my response to not write something stupid . Well, I was thinking that it could be the end of the pre-trial phase, and that they were investigating again for a soon-to-come trial with the other insurance company. But I can be wrong.

I don't know why the insurance company took such a long time to investigate the issue ,which company just tell us ,we would never take out its products anymore or do not renew ,that really make no sense about ur story !

They had already settled the case, and now all of a sudden they are investigating. I'm sure it's because we had deducted that $1000, otherwise they probably wouldn't even bother.
