Chana Chana futures traded on a negative note yesterday as higher arrivals as well as increasing imports of dollar chana have pressurized prices. Also, demand in the physical markets is weaker than expected. Favorable sowing conditions also added to the downside pressure. However, worries over acreage on the back of excessive soil moisture as well as diversification towards wheat in MP supported prices at lowers. The spot as well as the futures settled 0.63% and 1.61% lower on Wednesday.
