Long-&-short: I'd say, just contribute! Talk about what you're smart about, answer questions in topics you're smart about, ask questions about what's going on in your life, and make sure other answerers are answering right! That's one way we might be better than Wikipedia; where they require 'citations' to support the statements made there, WE rely on good-ol` faithful 'my word against your word' (although we can ADD citations if we want to) ... Kind of a social-democracy Wikipedia! How can we make it more-popular?
