Who is the Greatest?

" The greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven is the one who humbles himself" ( Matthew 18:4) A high school friend called me for a mini reunion along with some other classmates. He's currently based in Malaysia and is coming home for the holidays. I was so excited at first and then proceeded to contacting high school friends through social media. I found most of them and then I suddenly had second thoughts about this reunion. Nani is now based in Texas, USA. Jojo in Toronto,Canada, Celina is married with a Japanese so she lives in Japan, and about six more of them are having fabulous jobs and enjoying a good life with their families abroad. Only a few of us are left residing here in our country. But that's not what bothers me. I was the best in class then Everybody predicted that I'm going to be the greatest among my batchmates. But am I really a success story? What will I tell them when we get together? I live in a small house, work eight hours a day as a teacher/tutor and I feel so inferior compared to what these friends had accomplished in their lives. But I came across this verse. It's true that my i don't live an affluent life. I can't even afford to travel to some of those famous vacation places but I have nothing to be ashamed of. Teaching is a noble job and I'm proud of being able to help shape the minds and values of the youth . It may be that God called me for this task and I should accept it wholeheartedly and without regret. My friends may have a better life and I'm happy for them but I can say I also have a good and fulfilled life maybe not in terms of material things but more on the spiritual aspect of life.
