The Irony of Life

My Friend Milo did suffer from debilitating illness for quite a while. His illness included complications with his kidney and lung infection. He saw a doctor a year ago but the treatment would cause him a good amount of money which he and his family did not possess. He stopped working as a computer technician due to his failing health but his wife is working as a customer assistant for a BPO company. His lung infection and gastroenteritis are not really life-threatening disorders and medicines are not that expensive. However, he still has has five kids.to think about. Whatever cash he had would go to the kids food and education first. . His wife has medical insurance which covers the children but not Milo because they're not married. They decided to have a civil wedding last year but that's when the fifth additional member of the family arrived. Times were hard so his treatment had to take a backseat They tried to ask for help from relatives who can afford to loan them some money but none were generous enough to oblige. So Milo slowly deteriorates and continued to seek help from institutions, and relatives, but these efforts were unsuccessful. He lost weight considerably until he got bony-thin and could no longer hold himself upright . So to cut it short, the civil wedding was about to take place this December 12. He died on that date. The irony? Now relatives arrived pouring assistance for proper burial, to pay for the hospital bills just to get the death certificate. People came to offer their condolences to the wife and children Milo left behind. Really disgusting! For my friend, Milo, Rest in Peace!

My sincere condolences and heartfelt thoughts go out to Milo's wife and their kiddies. Your post 'The Irony of Life' is so appropriate to this story... a time of sorrow for his family. They must be grateful to have you as a good friend during their time of need.
