One guy ran the marathon and was knitting all the way - he knitted a 6 foot, 9 inch scarf while running!!
That is the way to do two things at a time. But I don't know who is going to use that scarf..??

My grandma used to knit while she walked long distances. It was a way to use the time efficiently.
Many had not a choice - there were no cars, or they could not afford a car. I guess bicycles were expensive and I don't know if she could use one.. 
This guy probably did the knitting for fun and to become famous..

I hope this record at least keeps someone warm.. or they might sell the scarf and do something good for the money..
