CAN YOU MAKE A SCRATCHED LINE SHORT WITHOUT TOUCHING IT?

If we want to go ahead of others without crushing others or fighting others. If a boy who has stood third in the class and wants to be first in the class. He has only one way that he should work harder than that boy who has got first position in the class.
IN THE SAME WAY IF WE WANT TO SHORTEN A SCRATCHED LINE WITHOUT TOUCHING IT, WE WILL HAVE TO SCRATCH A LARGER LINE BESIDE THAT LINE. THE FORMER LINE WILL BECOME SHORT WITHOUT TOUCHING THAT LINE.
TODAY THE COMPETITION IS HARDER SO WE WILL HAVE TO WORK HARDER THAN OTHERS AND MAKE A WAY FOR OURSELVES TO TEAR AWAY THE CROWD.

I was reading an article about Zuckerberg today. This guy is certainly a hard worker, but he won by walking on a lot of feet of others competitors without following all the rules. I have had times to times problems with guys like him, thinking that life is a jungle, and everything permitted to win. Maybe that working hard is not enough to win a competition

There has been a great scientist named DARWIN Who gave the theory of evolution. He gave the theory of STRUGGLE FOR EXISTENCE. This struggle has come down from the past and this struggle is not present only in men but in animals too.
Now it has taken the form of competion.According to me, competition is not bad but competition should not go to the extent of madness or progess by crushing others blindly. LIVE AND LET OTHERS LIVE.

@sunilmishra7756 I would not have thought to put Darwin in this discussion, but, yes, he has a legitimate place here 
, and we can refer to his adaptation theory to write that if you stay occasionally with sharks, you can stay yourself and you will have only to accomodate with sharks to survive, but if you want to spend your life with sharks, you will have to become a shark. Darwinism is frightening : it tells here that the form of the competition is not fixed by us, but by our competitors.
