Does anyone konw the way to teach kids?

Recently, I was teaching kids English, It's more difficult than i thought. what should i do

Dont teach them Orally...Give a Pictorial or Visual image of every word.
Eg: A for Apple means show them the picture of Apple and tell its also eatable. So that it registers easily in their mind

thanks very much. my supervisor also told me this. but , you konw, the kids are so active and naughty, they shouted loudly in the class, they would shouted even louder if they are interested. when i showed them the picture of a cow, "Oh MY GOD", the class was such a mess. they did not want to listen to me, they talked with each other. SO, what will you do, if you got such a situation. man
