Dubailand is an entertainment complex which is being built in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The complex is owned by Dubai Holding The project was started 2003 as one of the most ambitious leisure development projects, surpassing all world stabdards . The initial cost was around 64.3 billion. The development was put on hold in 2008 mainly due to global recession and the financial crisis in Dubai and GCC. but resumed in mid-2013. So far it shows that $55 billion has been raised towards the works. It is expected that Dubailand will open in 2015. For unmatched luxury living the best choice is Abidos hotel apartments. The total supposed area of Dubailand is 278 km2 (107 sq mi) and include 45 "mega projects" and 200 sub projects. So far a total of 22 projects are under construction. Dubailand is divided into six zones: 1.Attractions and Experience World. 2.Sports and Outdoor World 3.Eco-Tourism World 4.Themed Leisure and Vacation 5.World Retail 6.Entertainment World and Downtown Six attractions are currently open , although not yet completed . These are: Dubai Motor City - A 5.39 KM FIA certified track which opened in October 2004. The first Dubailand attraction to ever open. It also has an UpTown MotorCity – which is a low-rise residential apartment development including recreational areas, parks and schools. There is also Business Park MotorCity - Office space in several high rise towers and retail space including automobile showrooms and other automobile related shops. Last but not least is F1-X Dubai - A Formula One theme park. Dubai Oulet Mall - The mall opened in August 2007 and is located on the Dubai-Al Ain Road (Route 66) near the Dubai Bypass Road interchange, after Dubai Academic City. Global Village Dubailand, Dubai, is claimed to be the world's largest tourism, leisure and entertainment project. It is the region's first cultural, entertainment, family and shopping destination. Every year, it has 6 million visitors over an area of 17,200,000 sq ft. Dubailand is seen by its designers as a city and therefore like a city they expect it to continue to grow and develop beyond the four phase plan. The Sahara Kingdom theme park, situated in the Attractions & Experience World, will cover 460,000 m2 (4,951,399 sq ft) and will combine high end virtual and physical theme park rides, attractions such as a state of the art gaming zone, IMAXtheater, and integrated live and virtual entertainment shows, together with a retail zone, four hotels and residential accommodations. The theme of the development is traditional Arabian folklore and the tales of One Thousand and One Nights. In 2006, planning permission was granted for the Great Dubai Wheel, a 185-metre tall giant Ferris wheel with 30 passenger capsules, to be built and managed by the Great Wheel Corporation. Abidos hotel apartments, offers the luxury style of living in Dubai. Upon completion, it is expected that Dubailand will be twice the size of Walt Disney World Resort, and will be the largest collection of theme parks in the world;
