In today’s society, nearly everybody has a cell phone. Most of the people that have a cell phone actually have a smart phone. This means that with a smart phone, the business person can check email, surf the web, and receive phone calls and text message all from the phone. The smart phone has made things very convenient, as you don’t have to be in the office anymore. If you are waiting for a phone call, you can leave the office and still get that phone call. If you are waiting on an email, you can still leave the office and get that email, as well as respond to it. You can also surf the web for anything that you may need to look or check on. With the availability of smart phones you are no longer tied to your desk. You can go anywhere you want to and still be in constant communication with other businesses or even your own office. This makes things very convenient as you can run errands, go to a meeting or anything else. As long as you have your smart phone with you, you will not miss anything. They are also small and very convenient to carry. Before smart phones came along, you could still leave the office and get phone calls. You could also get and respond to text messages. However, you could not get any emails or surf the web. When smart phones came out it created a whole new level of convenience. A lot of businesses do respond and communicate via email. You used to have to stay in the office to be able to do that via a computer. Now you can actually get emails wherever you go. This makes it really nice, as business people do not spend that much time in the office anymore. This is especially true for Real Estate professionals who are constantly out of the office to show different properties. Now they don’t have to wait till they get back into the office and face hundreds of emails that have come in while they were out. They can get and respond to emails as they come in, making their job a whole lot easier. Smart phones have definitely changed the way businesses communicate. Not a lot of businesses talk to each other over the phone anymore. Most of their communication is done through email. Now you can get emails wherever you are, and are not restricted to the office. And now it’s about wireless expense management and keeping a business from spending too much on smart phones and plans.
