if marry should be a house?

what do you think if marry should be a house? maybe in other countries the answer is "no", but in China, the society request men to buy house before a marriage. And even a poor girl from rural area request her future husband should have a house. so in China marry cost really a lot.

I know a roof over the two heads is necessary in life after marriage. But love is much more necessary than a palace for a couple.

I think this custom is very practical, and i agree with it. A man should be able to provide a decent home for his future bride and has financial capability to raise a family.
