The cause must among other things found in the consumption of sugar, soft drinks and alcohol in excess of recommendations – and it has implications for dental health. It shows a comprehensive study of the Danes ' dental health and overall health. The study also shows that especially young and well-educated get preventive dental services, when they are at the dentist, while low-skilled workers more often get made fillings. Many adult citizens from 13 municipalities participated. All have completed a series of questionnaires and undergone a comprehensive dental examination and checkup. This is the second report from the study, and together with the first report forming the basis of the last report, which will focus on risk patients in dental care in the coming decades, as well as make recommendations for actions in adult dental care in Denmark. It is Dental Association and a number of researchers at the Dental schools, who are behind the Dental examination.
