We need to belong!

See that guy, he is wearing board shorts in the office... See that lady (if she deserves to be called one) dresses like a hooker... We have sooner or later come across people thinking out loud, and we have done it too. Not everyone is the same, they have different personalities, attitudes and blah blah blah, then why do we feel the need for every human to conform to the so called 'societal norms'. I am not in favour of completely abandoning social norms and stripping at a restaurant or sleeping with your best friend's spouse or even murdering someone. But, why can't we be and let others be! We say each one is unique, yet we never want to hang out with a person who is different or thinks differently than we do, for the sake of social acceptance... The human need to belong somewhere makes him judge others without many a times knowing them... And don't we all hate 'people who judge', and yet we do it too (knowingly or unknowingly), all the time! We would hate to be hated!! The only solution to this is to first accept yourself, what you are, what you believe in..! Only then can you accept others as they are, without wanting to change them... Only then is the point in living in a society where people are happy for each other and not judgemental!
