how to make people work?

today in world, specially in Indian cities, we find that for right cause, people don't try to work hard. we are seeing that people get addicted to girlfriends/boyfriends, fb, any unproductive work, etc. feeling of doing work in their own has gone away. what environment have we made here that create such loss of heritage in our Indian human society that even neighbors in society not even mingle and what are the reasons that our children don't obey right people? why don't people respect their holy books that give right way of living and keeping a sensual relation with nature? such Indian society only works when money is in front. people are narrow minded. they think about a profit or loss in life. now how to make such people work as the work is prescribed by the way it is to be done?
