Why not have a look? They have a great studio built by volunteer workers and can now reach people who are searching for answers to their questions about the meaning of life.
The site jw.org is familiar for many already, but this is new. Many languages will be added in the future..

Streaming, on demand video and audio. Free Christian movies, educational and entertaining programs for families, teens, children, all. Official JW broadcast.

@enlightenedpsych2 As they say God of your understanding which differs from person to person. No one should force beliefs on any one.

I used to read their site in different languages-mostly the Hebrew version though. Something I was always curious about was how they pronounced the Name in Hebrew, as Israelis tend not to say it-I asked a few Witnesses here, but they didn't know. So if they had videos in Hebrew, I'd probably watch some.

God's personal name YHWH is pronounced differently in different languages, but the original - we don't know for sure, as it has not been used in Hebrew, due to the superstition or something like that by some religious leaders - You can check the site as more will be added.
I guess you have seen the latest translation - NWT 2013

@buenavida Actually we do have a pretty good idea of how it was pronounced-the transliterations of the Church Fathers are from Semetic sources, are consistent and more or less agree with Yahweh-which is why most scholars favor this-and as someone with formal theological training at the doctorate level, well, I agree with this-but I was referring to how Modern Jehovah's Witnesses in Israel pronounce it...do you know:)?

@HebrewGreekStudies The form Yahweh has been used by JW in songs, but I can try to find out what is used by Hebrew speking JW. I will keep this in mind, as I would like to know too.
But at least we know whom we are talking about..

I am happy that you studied, and you were free to make your own choice. Freedom of choice is a great gift from God. He only wants to have children who obey him from free will.
But he is very patient with us and gives us many chances to come back to him, as he loves us very much and wants the best for us.

@enlightenedpsych2 - The true God Jehovah does not force anyone to live eternally - this was what he told Adam, the first man. He is not threatening us with eternal torture. If Adam refused to obey God, he would just lose his life and go back to earth. Genesis 2:17, 3:19

@buenavida I studied not only with the Jehovah's witnesses but with other groups too. They all claim to be "the truth" , but they are all the same to me ..They divide humanity...
@enlightenedpsych2 I'm not sure who you are talking to as being a Jehovah's witness.. Maybe I didn't make that comment clear.. I am not a Jehovah's Witness and nor do I belong to any organised religions.. "The Truth" that they showed me, or made me realised is the truth in me.. I don't believe in organised religions ..

Are they not the ones who come knocking at my door sometimes with kids in tow . . to tell us about the Good News?! Sorry, if they are, I never opened my door to them coz I already know the good news . . as I studied in the seminary to become a priest. The only bad news is I lost my vocation before ordination . . .

You are free to visit jw.org if you wish.
There is always something interesting there. I have known about the Good News since 1952, but am still learning more and more.. Maybe I am a bit slow..

They are very much into modern communication, even though they rely heavily on their door to door sharing. There are things I agree with and things I disagree with that they teach, but I would never consider their approach to technology as backwards.

@Pattitude That is fine, we each make our bed the way we want it and will lie in that bed. While I have chosen my religious path I try to show love and respect for everyone to the best of my ability. All the best!
