If you ever had a Dream of becoming a Professional Racer, YOU CAN MAKE IT A REALITY.
Just go through this article and you might end up getting your Engines started...!!!!
Well everyone has the desire to hit the throttle of a REAL race car(yeah i mean that) but not all of them succeed in it, either due to financial incapabilities or lack of faith and confidence.
Nevertheless, If you are really ready for some serious business ,you just need to be self motivated, enthusiastic and ready for a challenges of racing training!
Before we start just take care of the following Factors....!!
To begin with, you can start your career either by joining a GO-KART club or any Racing academy, which actually depends on your age,(I'm not Kidding). Lets make two age groups 14-19 and 19-39. If you fall under the first group you need to first join the Kart club and then advance after completing that. On the other hand if you fall under the second group you need to get registered in a Racing Academy which requires a hell lot of money. But here is the twist, you would get a Racing License if you choose the academy.
BE READY WITH SOME COUPLE OF THOUSAND BUCKS
This is the saddest part where most of us lack behind or just leave the idea of taking a step forward. But believe me, If you've got the guts to take the risk you should give it a try.
BE MENTALLY STRONG
This career not only requires physical fitness but you need to be mentally strong to overcome the stress and face the challenges associated with Motorsports.
STEPS:
1. Search for the nearest Karting Club/ Racing Academy
Start by searching for the nearest academy on the INTERNET. When you'll find some couple of places to train yourself, look for the most efficient and effective one where you can get the quality training and expertise in the field of motorsports.
(Choose the one which is budget friendly and which can really provide you with a career)
2. Arrange finances and join the Club/Academy
I've attached a file giving an idea of an academy down below.
Now you need to arrange finances for joining the Club/Academy. Better find a sponsor for yourself who really can support you and my suggestion is to ask your Parents for that.
3. GET READY FOR THE ACTION
Now you're all set, you've got funds, your membership and a Goal. The training that you'll get, consists of subject knowledge, mechanics of open wheel cars, pit lane & corner working activities and of course how to drive the CAR.
It depends on which academy you are in, for the time for lap sessions and the mechanical lessons.
Be consistent in your performance and technical aspects for better future opportunities.
4. GET YOUR BASIC LICENSE (For Canada CACC & SCCA)
The program would take around 3-7 months to complete depending on your choice, and would get you a basic license for racing.
refer to this link for more info:

5. Apart from SCCA another association is NASA (national auto sport association- also in USA) provides platform for participating in entry-level races but, it requires separate membership. Let me remind you that this is just the entry-level, and each region has its own Racing Series.
Here is the list of series around the globe -
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Formula_racing
It seems a bit complex and yes it is!! , If you want to reach to the top you need to do it step by step.
and this is the point where you need to empty your bank balances.
These are the endless possibilities for you to try.
F1 . F3 . F4 . Formula Car Challenge . Formula Atlantic . Formula First . Formula Ford . Formula Continental . Formula Junior . Formula Libre . Super Formula . IndyCar . F500 . FF1600 . Formula SAE . Supermodified Sprint car racing . Midget car racing . Quarter Midget racing . Formula Student . Formula 1000
6. FIND A SPONSOR
Unless you have Multi billionaire parents you would need to find a sponsor for funding your needs. The best way to do this is by investing your own money first for entering into racing events. Prove yourself that you've got the talent and potential by performing extraordinarily on the track. You need to come into the limelight to get the attention of SPONSORS. Once you have a sponsor and consistent performance you're all set.
7. The Final GOAL - FORMULA 1
The ultimate and final destination of your dream is Formula 1, which is indeed a golden opportunity for all of you, but only 0.01 % of us succeed and remain in the crusade till the end.
GIVE IT A SHOT...!!!!
To be honest, its not at all easy to actually do all this, But lets give it a try for once. Whether you succeed or not its another aspect but don't end up loosing your faith and not doing it just because you don't believe in yourself. Trust me you would never regret in the future if you give it a shot.
It is not impossible to become a professional racer unless you have the dedication, enthusiasm and potential towards your ultimate goal.
I believe this might Help you!!
PEACE
