THE DOUBTS ARE NOT USELESS BUT CREATE THE SCIENTIFIC ATTITUDE IN THE MINDS OF PEOPLE

It is generally said that we should believe what the elderly people or our forefathers said to us. Apparently this idea looks attractive but it is wrong because if we keep following the track showed by our elders or forefathers, the new thoughts will never be generated in the minds of coming generation.
In science the doubt is the first lesson.Our elders tell us many myths but the children of today do not believe any myth without proof. The children of today do not want to believe the unbelievable stories of ghosts which are generally told by the elders to entertain the children.
I think that blind faith is a folly and doubt is the beginning of wisdom.

I agree with you. We live in a modern society, many phenomena can be explained by science. If somebody wants to know why, he must ask why, not totally believe what others said. But take many factors into consideration,such as the limited of the science and technology, ancestors' experience is important, they know how to do, but they don't know why. We should insist on doubt attitude, also we should respect elders' wisdom.

Yes, you are right. I also respect the elders and I salute their experience but we should not forget the advantage of doubt because you will not be cheated if you doubt. All the experienced people are not equally good.I do not accept the doubtful things even if my elders say or someone else.
In life, as in chess, forethought wins.
Doubt is the beginning of wisdom not the end.
HE THAT KNOWS NOTHING, DOUBTS NOTHING.I SHALL ADVISE THE GIRLS OF TODAY TO DOUBT EVERY STRANGER WHETHER HE IS OLD OR YOUNG BECAUSE TODAY ANYBODY CAN MISGUIDE THEM AND MOLEST THEM.

Thanks a lot for a great comment and giving consent to my thoughts.Some unsocial elements misguide the children and try to involve them in criminal activities.For the children, it is next to impossible to identify these criminals.
It is easy to seduce the innocent girls so the rape cases are inceasing day by day.We all should be and alert. Believe a man after putting them to test.
